Works fine for me in Windows 7 (which is Windows Vista 1.1).

Of note, I did get a UAC prompt while installing.  Your copy may not have installed properly, so you might consider reinstalling and saying 'Yes' to all UAC prompts.

Thank you for reply.
Well I downloaded ver 1.3 and same issue.

Confirmed all UAC prompts, run Similarity as admin - still no respond. Program doesn't even seem to start.

Just tested on Vista 32-bit - work fine.

To help us to find potential incompatibility issues with your software your may:
1) See event log for some error messages about Similarity or some dll's
2) See c:\Documents and Settings\[Your user]\Application Data\Similarity\ for *.dmp files and send them to us
3) Try to delete decoders.dll and run Similarity, if it runs (it can't correctly work after deleting, just for test) write us email we send your special version of Similarity for more detailed analyzis.

Than you for support.
I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit with most of last fixes on laptop.

Similarity seems to install itself correctly. Two files Similarity.exe, decoders.dll, readme.txt, changes.txt, lincence.txt and folder Locale.

I guess event log is file called somehow log. Can't find any.
After attempts and deleting decoders.dll and run the program. Still can't find any *.dmp files on HDD anywhere.

No Similarity folder in Applicatino Data was created
Also compatibility mode doesn't work. Similarity doesn't start.

About year ago I used Similarity build 87. I tryed this now and it works like a charm. But I guess whole core was rewritten since then so no hint at all right.

Okey, I test on Windows XP SP2 - works.

But my Windows Vista SP1 + updates  -  still no reaction.
I use SpyBot & Commodo & NOD32 (Can't remember any other program which might cause this). Any other program gives an error at least.
